Dhaka Metro Rail, a dream for the people of Dhaka city, has been inaugurated (উদবোধন করা) recently and is currently undergoing test runs. Soon it will carry passengers and the dream of Dhaka commuters (যাত্রী) will come true. A metro train is a train that is specifically designed to run in metropolitan cities. This train is used by the daily commuters to cover the short distance or the distance within the city. This is the new concept of trains in Bangladesh. Dhaka Metro Rail milestone (মাইলফলক) in the field of communication in our country. The 20.1 km long metro rail line from Uttara to Motijheel is known as MRT-6. Twenty-four trains on both sides can carry about 60.000 passengers per hour and about 5,00,000 passengers a day. There will be six coaches each train which can be upgraded in the future and each train will be able to carry a maximum of 2308 passengers. It will have stations on 16 points of the city. Motijheel can be reached from Uttara in just 40 minutes. Metro rail will provide multifaceted (1/4) benefits to the residents of Dhaka. It will reduce traffic congestion and save unlimited number of working hours. City dwellers will be able to reach their destination in a short time and at low cost. It will ensure a comfortable and safe journey. As metro rail is fully an electrically operated train, it will play an effective role in reducing environmental pollution. Dhaka Metro Rail will play an important role in the economic development of the country. It will not only ensure a good communication system for the people of Dhaka city but will also create a lot of job ahead financially. Improved communication is incluctable (অপরিহার্য) for balanced economic and the country will go far development. The dream of Dhaka Metro Rail is on the way to be fulfilled. In December 2022, the residents of Dhaka city will be able to reach their desired distination by metro rail in a short time without any stress or strain. Bangladesh is soon going to be amongst the countries of the world which are having an improved communication system. One cannot but be amazed (বিস্মিত) at and proud of the future road plan of Bangladesh.

ঢাকা মেট্রো রেল, ঢাকা শহরের মানুষের জন্য একটি স্বপ্ন, সম্প্রতি উদ্বোধন করা হয়েছে এবং বর্তমানে পরীক্ষামূলকভাবে চলছে। শীঘ্রই এটি যাত্রী বহন করবে এবং ঢাকা যাত্রীদের স্বপ্ন বাস্তবায়িত হবে। একটি মেট্রো ট্রেন একটি ট্রেন যা বিশেষভাবে মেট্রোপলিটন শহরগুলিতে চালানোর জন্য ডিজাইন করা হয়েছে। এই ট্রেনটি প্রতিদিনের যাত্রীরা শহরের মধ্যে অল্প দূরত্ব বা দূরত্ব কভার করতে ব্যবহার করে। এটি বাংলাদেশে ট্রেনের নতুন ধারণা। আমাদের দেশে যোগাযোগের ক্ষেত্রে ঢাকা মেট্রো রেলের মাইলফলক। উত্তরা থেকে মতিঝিল পর্যন্ত 20.1 কিলোমিটার দীর্ঘ মেট্রো রেল লাইন MRT-6 নামে পরিচিত। উভয় দিকের চব্বিশটি ট্রেন প্রতি ঘন্টায় প্রায় 60,000 যাত্রী এবং দিনে প্রায় 5,00,000 যাত্রী বহন করতে পারে। প্রতিটি ট্রেনে ছয়টি বগি থাকবে যা ভবিষ্যতে আপগ্রেড করা যাবে এবং প্রতিটি ট্রেন সর্বোচ্চ 2308 জন যাত্রী বহন করতে সক্ষম হবে। শহরের ১৬টি পয়েন্টে এর স্টেশন থাকবে। উত্তরা থেকে মতিঝিল যাওয়া যায় মাত্র ৪০ মিনিটে। মেট্রো রেল ঢাকার বাসিন্দাদের বহুমুখী (1/4) সুবিধা প্রদান করবে। এতে যানজট কমবে এবং সীমাহীন কর্মঘণ্টা সাশ্রয় হবে। নগরবাসী স্বল্প সময়ে এবং কম খরচে তাদের গন্তব্যে পৌঁছাতে পারবে। এটি একটি আরামদায়ক এবং নিরাপদ ভ্রমণ নিশ্চিত করবে। মেট্রোরেল সম্পূর্ণরূপে বৈদ্যুতিক চালিত ট্রেন হওয়ায় পরিবেশ দূষণ কমাতে কার্যকর ভূমিকা রাখবে। দেশের অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়নে ঢাকা মেট্রোরেল গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে। এটি শুধু ঢাকা শহরের জনগণের জন্য একটি ভালো যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা নিশ্চিত করবে না বরং আর্থিকভাবেও সামনে অনেক কর্মসংস্থান সৃষ্টি করবে। উন্নত যোগাযোগ ভারসাম্যপূর্ণ অর্থনৈতিক জন্য অন্তর্ভুক্তিযোগ্য (ফুট) এবং দেশ উন্নয়ন অনেক দূর এগিয়ে যাবে. ঢাকা মেট্রো রেলের স্বপ্ন পূরণের পথে। 2022 সালের ডিসেম্বরে, ঢাকা শহরের বাসিন্দারা কোনও চাপ বা চাপ ছাড়াই স্বল্প সময়ের মধ্যে মেট্রো রেলের মাধ্যমে তাদের কাঙ্ক্ষিত গন্তব্যে পৌঁছাতে সক্ষম হবে। বাংলাদেশ শীঘ্রই বিশ্বের উন্নত যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থার দেশগুলির মধ্যে একটি হতে যাচ্ছে। বাংলাদেশের ভবিষ্যৎ সড়ক পরিকল্পনা দেখে কেউ বিস্মিত ও গর্বিত না হয়ে পারে না।
